Mission Experience

Trip preparation by SOS leaders was precise, factual, and very much necessary. Their travel experience and attention to detail was remarkable. Trip preparation, accommodations, meals and our return went exactly as described in team meetings. As a first time traveler with SOS, I found it very comforting to have such knowledgeable leadership, it made the whole experience very enjoyable. Traveling to Guatemala and the chain of events that got me there, filled me with the Holy Spirit. I felt the presence of the Lord in every event that took place. We spent a lot of time praying to His blessed Mother Mary, asking Her for guidance, protection, and intercessory prayer, and I believe this was a large part of the success of the trip. The people in Guatemala were ready and willing to receive our faith sharing, and they were very appreciative of our efforts. This mission was a life changing experience for me, truly a “must do” in life.
